I see that comments on cars for sale are not posted until a moderator approves them. But ever since that guideline was instituted I have never seen one of my comments displayed. Do any of the moderators see my posts, if so what is wrong with them? Or do my posts just disappear and never get sent for approval?

Don't feel bad as mine were routinely rejected too. Mod PM'd me stating they were trying to keep the clutter to a minimum and I agree with that. I don't even bother to flame people who are posting crap in the less moderated categories as it really is just a waste of time.

I get that at one point comments got out of hand, I've been on here for 15 years. But A) this place is getting less and less traffic - Good luck with your sale, or other niceties should be easy to allow. B) On plenty of other sites at least they were self policed a little when cars being sold as one thing and members point out items, its an education for many. Heck, it can often help sell a car because with those comments people learn more about the car for sale.

I read every single post. Posts are approved if a specific question related to the car or to the car owner is asked, or someone offers to assist a potential buyer by viewing the car. It’s a Classified Ad section, not a community discussion. If a Seller wants to ask questions and solicit responses about their car, the Thread is moved to Community Discussion, so a dialog can ensue.

^^^this^^^, and I can say I approve. Because most people that used to post comments in the F.S., didn’t post positive comments, only their version of what you Car was worth, why your mods were wrong blah blah blah. If your looking to buy, comment, otherwise, opinions aren’t needed.
