Day at the races

Here's two pics of me in my car at the race track last Saturday when I was turning those 12.2 ET's.......if you look closely at the second one, you'll notice an early 70's Mustang in the far lane ready to stage for the race. that car has a 460 engine under the hood, and it ran a 12.1 while I ran a 12.2 so it was a pretty close race. my car was right at his bumper.

So in light of the fact that he had slicks, a car that had to weigh atleast 500 LBS lighter than mine, and had 180 more cubic inches of engine displacement under the hood, I was glad to be able to stay that close w/him in the race. these S/Cers for our Marauders are simply awesome........

BTW, I just want to say a big THANKYOU to "Bob's Marauder", for joining me at the track to watch me race, and to route for me, to his daughter and newest member to this board "Shaunessy" for bringing a camera w/her to the track that day, and to his son Joe for taking those pics of me and my car while I was racing.;)
