I've found a engine out of a 04 to use in my 03 .my question is will everything electrical be the same? Is it just plug and play or do I have to do anything to the computer? I cant seem to find any info other than the 04s had two knock sensors.
Thanks

The only difference I remember off hand is the 04 has dual knock sensors, the 03 has one. Not a big issue in itself, and IIRC everything else should be the same.

when i put the 04 engine in my 03, i just used the 03 single knock sensor wire on the 03 to the one 03 valley port. put the 04 dual wire on your shelf.

I just got the engine in and running yesterday. I used the original 04 engine harness. So far the only visable difference I found was the 04 engine had two o2 sensors on the driver side manifold and the plug in the power steering was a three wire instead of a two wire like on the 03. I'm hoping that it doesn't throw any codes from the dual knock sensors. Not sure why it would but will see when I bring the car home today.
Thanks...
