Took the kit off to install a new filter and I noticed the pvc pipe is not rounded. Instead it has a egg shape.

Also this is the other side which is still perfectly rounded. I just can’t remember if this is how the kit came.

That’s nothing. You should have seen mine after running the Trilogy at 19/20 #s for a couple of years!

Anyways it should be the same size as 4” PVC from Home Depot. Paint it black and move on if it bothers you. Or slap it back on and drive.

How old is your kit?

Reach out to Jay Tucker who owns JLT. Way back in the day this was happening to people left and right, Jay revised the kit and provided new tubes to anyone who had this issue for free. I'd be willing to bet he'll send you a new tube.

edit: found the old thread where he talks about it. Regardless of how old your kit is I would still email Jay. I have a feeling he'll still be willing to help you out.

This is the ABS, not the early PVC and looks to have been over tightened, but yes, reach out to us and we can help you.
