My first car was a 71 Marquis Brougham with a 429. Enjoyed plenty of one tire fire with that in the 80s. I saw some really nice MMs at Griot's a few years ago, and I knew I was in need of another big merc. After finding a bone-stock MM in excellent condition (despite 151k), I am back in a Mercury for the first time in 35 years. Will be nice to lay some 11s in a full size vehicle.
Have been driving a 94 Cobra Pace Car as a DD for the last few years, and it's finally time to retire her. It will be nice having some isolation from the flowmasters and a fixed roof - especially considering the 8 months of liquid sunshine we get here in the Pacific Northwest.
Been checking out the forum for quite a while. For now I intend to keep her just as she is... except maybe... are those CNC machined Godhead front and rear emblems still available? Those are just too cool and really should have been included from the factory.
