Blew out the spark plug

Hey everyone,

Buddy with a MM just blew a spark plug out of the head. I know there was an issue with early heads only having 3 or 4 threads for the plugs. I searched for helicoil but nothing came up. Was this a recall or warranty?

How are others dealing with this other than helicoli? Can someone point me to a thread?

Timesert is the Ford approved repair...no recall, helicoils have been used with success
