Well, that sucks. Headlight cracked, grille obliterated, badge broken, sight shield ruined, bumper sc***** up, license plate bracket has another hole in it, hood crunched, header panel broken, intercooler radiator looks pushed back.

What has to come off to take out the header panel?
Looks like the best replacement is an oem one off e-bay for $250.

Any way to get a sight shield without the little cutout "U" in it? Might be most upset at this...

Thank Zod the bumper wasn't hit more than it was.

I feel your pain. A year and a half ago, a gal on her phone made a turn without looking and plowed into me. Really pissed me off because she destroyed my badgeless grille along with the other damage she cause. I have a used pass, side headlight if you need one.

There are about six bolts on each side of the header panel that hold it to the fender about four in the center that hold it to the core support and you will have to loosen up a fender from the core support to slide the fender off the dowel pins of the header panel.
If you get one fender loosened up in the front only then you will be able to slide the header panel out.

Elementary question: Does the bumper cover have to come off first?

I was making a right turn in a turn lane. I was looking left, saw the pick-up work truck with a metal bumper go past me, i left off the brake, turn my head and he was stopped ahead of me. He was turning into the gas station on the corner. I had a yield sign so it was my fault but man, that is a *****y set up. Must have made that turn a hundred times just fine. The guy I hit had a tiny scratch and said he has seen that at that intersection before.

On a related topic, since the grille is obsolete, what is better: getting a silver GM oem and painting it or the primer black aftermarket ones off ebay and paint that?
