I have a 2003 Marauder with close to 250,000 miles. The heater return uses a carbon steel tube attached to the side of the block which is now leaking and needs replaced. Ford no longer makes this tube and the after market parts I have found on line are not even close the original part. I checked the Mustang parts with similar engines with no luck. My question is are there any replacement heater tubes available or is there a fix to replace.

Either wait till someone parts a dead MM or use heater hose and route away from the engine.

Away from the engine? The hose in question is part of the engine.

Replace it with either a hose or copper or stainless steel tubing.

It’s not part of the engine, it’s attached to the engine.

Hello
just route a heater hose and bypass the rusty metal tube which is NLA. I used 5/8" heater hose and a 3/4 - 5/8 adapter the hose starts out 3/4" at firewall then necks down. Leave the rusty pipe in place and hack saw off what you can so you don't have to look at it.
