I had a chance for Red. Somebody had ordered red calipers and backed out of the order. But, I wanted black from the beginning.

If somebody wants a red caliper Marauder brake kit, there's one sitting at Baer. No waiting.

There is NO comparison of the stock brakes and these Baers...especially with any "power adders" (no I won't start that debate again)

AND they're MAJOR "bling"...

And....once you drive one with these on it...yours will ALWAYS feel...wimpy, wimpy, wimpy vs. the HEFTY, HEFTY, HEFTY Baers...

The tech at the dealer that did the install said it best... "Anyone who knows anything about performance cars will take one look and KNOW you're serious."

Coming through! Hot stuff! You've got some steel braided lines for a garnish, right?

BTW your grammar for the thread title is atrocious! You have your tenses mixed up. In the accomplished past tense it's "brang". "Brung" would be the future planned, as in, "The parts will be brung over tommorrow."

Easy mistake. I think it has to do with the common usage in motorhead english of 'crunk' as in the grammatically correct, "I knew it had a dead cylinder as soon as I crunk the engine up."

Thats soo true, I bought a Baer kit for my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and smashed the car prior to putting it on, it fit my Dad's Buick regal GS and so I gave it to him and he loved it. And the first thing everyone notices is the brakes and if they know cars are instantly impressed.....

If you know how to control the power then you don't need to improve the brake system.:P

If you know how to control the power then you don't need to improve the brake system.:PReminds me of Fletch driving that old Fleetwood with no brakes.

I plan to get the upgraded brakes after I get the Trilogy kit and a good driveshaft. It's either that or a parachute.

Parachute. That gives me an idea. Hey! BillyGman! Next time you take the 'family car' down to the track.....

Some, not all of the cars develop a vibration with lower gears or higher speeds than the factory setting of about 117 mph tops. Mine did not vibrate that you could feel, but it did vibrate enough to cause the tranny seal to leak. Changed the driveshaft and fixed that.

If yours doesn't have a problem, leave it stock.

Those Baer brakes look great...

The rear rotors are replacements that use the stock brakes correct?

Does anyone know if their is a company that makes replacement drilled front rotors that can be used with the stock brakes??

Just 2 calipers. The rears are just drilled/slotted rotors to match the fronts.

This is for the Marauder specific front brake kit, which includes two front calipers, and Mercury Eradispeed OEM spec rear rotors, drilled, slotted and zinc plated to match the fronts.

I was told by my supervisor that I had to work today (Saturday). I go into work, and the Saturday supevisor says "What are you doing here, Carlson, you have approved leave for today." And the work schedule shows "approved leave" for today next to my day. Seems like somebody cancelled their leave yesterday while I was in Atlanta, so they decided to let me off instead. Only it would have been nice TO TELL ME before I cancelled my room (and paid a cancellation fee), rented a car and drove back to Birmingham, got up at 5AM and went into work.
She actually asked me "well, you're here, you want to work" SEE YAH!!

I broke several speed laws in my rented minivan getting these brakes over to Scott, who was prepped and ready to put them on as soon as I arrived, my car having been left there for him to work on this weekend. The photos below are of the work in progress, which, unfortunately, is incomplete because whoever prepped the parts for shipping left out the two front banjo bolts. Scott will either have to modify OEM banjo bolts (they are too long) or if I can get ahold of Baer in time, Ill have them overnight the bolts.

Still, looks nice, no?
