How to protect aluminum parts on the marauder

I just received my new lower control arms from rockauto and they look great. How do I keep them that way? I also cleaned up the aluminum crossmember and was planning on painting all 3 pieces with Por15 2K urethane clear but second guessing that idea. Starting to think I should try sharkhide metal sealant and be done with it. Curious what other members do to keep their aluminum parts looking good?

clear coat the control arms.
periodically spray the crossmember (and control arms) with silicone.

Wish there was a product for easy wipe on/off for oxidation. Like Tarn-X.
