Has anyone had any experience with these oil filters? "Pure Power! 2.0 Lifetime Oil Filter" claims to be a lifetime oil filter for a number of vehicles, where you can simply wash and re-use. At $250 or more, the price seems more than steep? Although they seem to be produced by K&N, which is a reputable company.

Motorcraft filters are about $5.00 each...............
You can buy a filter magnet. I use this one - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OJCIMO/ref=psdc_15727201_t1_B016H588V E

Just an FYI.....
Since I got an F150, my MM is not a daily driver. I change the oil once a year even if I don't reach 5k miles. It would take me 50 years to break even on that filter.

For a cheap bling factor, wrap the oil filter with aluminum foil or use the chrome-tinted paint!
(I know - low brow humor but somebody just might crazy enough to try it.)
