Anyone Using Hagerty Insurance on their Marauder?
I talked with Grundy, but they require that you own two cars. So your Marauder (read collector car) is not used for a daily driver.
I'm not trying to save money, I just want to establish an "Agreed Value" to protect my investment.
I appreciate any thoughts or comments.... architect

Not on my Marauder, by my '04 Mach1. Tough to beat their pricing.

Did they require that you own two cars in your name? They would not allow me to use my wife car as my second vehicle...?
Thanks for you help...

Some Insurers offer an additional Limit, ACV+20%, for a nominal additional premium.

All of mine are covered with Hagerty
GT500
Marauder
Mach 1
GT Mustang.
My Daily drivers are under a different insurer.

I have 2 cars, well more actually in my name already, when I changed Marauder to Hagerty.

I thought that having to own an additional vehicle or three was in the Marauder owners manual?

My son has Hagerty on his Marauder plus two more cars. He loves it - wouldn't have anything else.

Yes, you need a to prove your agreed value car with Hagerty is not your primary source of transportation. $450 a year for the original '58 Corvette. I need to move my Marauder over too....

I use condon skelly. Have agreed value on my Turbo coupe ($8500) and antique harley ($10,000). 0 deductible $250 a year for both. would have Marauder with them but it needs to be in a garage and don't have room for it in my garage.

++++ Hagerty .

And I have too many cars, (all heaps, so don't get jealous) so proving a daily driver is not an issue....

I also have Hagerty on my 1963 Marauder S-55 and they not only required a DD, but also it needs to be in a heated garage and I'm expressly forbidden from driving it to work.

Can't drive it to work? Wow. They never told me that. But then again, I would never leave the Corvette or the Marauder out of eyesight wherever I work. I do remember them asking how I would use it. Drive-ins, ice cream, car shows, drives in the country.... Marauder is a different story. Car shows, drag racing, street cruising, picking on Hemi's, plaiin ole causing trouble.....

I'm using Grundy...they're quite a bit more lenient than Hagerty.

I have Hagerty on mine with substantial coverage and I am just under a grand per year. I opted for their "Cherished Salvage" clause which allows you to keep the vehicle in the case of a loss or write-off. My other three cars are all on State Farm and I simply could not be happier with my experience from both companies.

I have Hagerty for my 03. But we had two other cars through them. They did balk a bit to insure it but it has been covered for 3 years now.
