Have stock exhaust and looking for a decent set of mufflers. Going to do a rear cat delete as well. Was looking at Flowmaster super 44s. I will extended tail pipe out about 1.5 to 2 in from the rear bumper to a reduce some drone but just curious if anybody has these and their thoughts. Or possibly just a rear cat delete. Also resonators are still in. Just looking for a little bit more growl than she has. Thanks!

I Have 2 of these with SW Headers and XPipe, res delete factory tips. People say it sounds awesome. They're right.

its all personal preference but my exhaust on my 03 marauder is all original and its plenty loud as-is and has plenty growl from the factory.

Are all marauders equipped with the same exhaust? Why would you want to get rid of the marauder custom mufflers?

Didn't someone post an article on here a few years back saying Flowmaster actually robs a couple of horses? I thought that was why folks here switched to Magnaflows.

I do have Flowmasters on my old Crown Vic for the nice rumble.

I can hear what I want..Just have to find the right combo to achieve it. Nothing raspy . More of a deep throaty tone than what it has.

Going from stock, I enjoyed just swapping the OEM mufflers for Flowmaster Delta 50's.

When I was N/A my marauder sounded best with a 2000 and up mustang 2.5" H pipe and left everything else stock.

Nice and deep.

I now run LT's, 3" Hpipe, 3" Magnaflows, 3" over the axles, and stock resonated tips. Very deep and ballsy

Agreed - the stock sound track appeals to me - completely in character with the car IMO.

Best sound my car ever produced IMO and by far the most compliments was simply Magnaflow 18” mufflers, rear cats deleted, and resonators removed.

Second up would be the same set up but with the addition of LT’s radically modified to fit and a home built X pipe.

Does removing the rear cats and installing, say the magnaflow mufflers introduce drone into the cabin? What about an X pipe?
