After waiting weeks (and a hassle like you would not believe) to get the parts, FINALLY everything came together this weekend and my SVO shorty headers, modified Magnaflow "direct fit catalytic converter" (with X-pipe), 18" Magnaflow mufflers, and custom bent pipes were installed. This was in addition to a Stallion PI torque converter, also done this weekend.
This exhaust system sounds SCHAWEET! Marauderchick was at Team this afternoon and heard my car without the mufflers (I had to drive it a couple miles to Grand Muffler), so she can attest to how BA it sounded!
This has been perhaps the most satisfying mod for me. The chip was a close second, but this definitely gave the car a kick, and that sound....
These shots show the cobra headers (Jethot metallic ceramic coated), the modified Magnaflow direct fit cat/xpipe, and the magnaflow mufflers. An adapter fitting was needed to connect the EGR to these headers.

Congrats - A super install job. Looks great. :DAll the credit goes to Scott and Jason at Team Ford (for installing the headers and magnaflow cats/xpipe) and to Coop at Grand Muffler (who installed the magnaflow mufflers, bent, cut, and welded up stainless steel pipe to complete the job). Especially to Scott, who really came through with the adapter fitting.

And your total cost, parts and labor was?
Looks like a nice job, Donny. Now please clean up that engine compartment before Todd sees it!

Hard to say, Mac. I paid more than I orginally intended, because I ordered everything from a source that was unable to deliver, or at least unable to deliver on a timetable I could live with. Of what I bought and paid for, only a part of it was actually delivered. I had to find everything else on my own.
I also paid more for the install than orginally intended because I wanted the install done by a specific day and time. I paid a "priority" premium.
I STRONGLY encourage members on this site to stick with Reinhart and Kooks when ordering exhaust systems. You DO NOT want to go through the hassle I went through.
