I belive 0000rpms.. :cool4:
On pure highway trips, driving between 72 and 75 mph, I usually get around 24 mpg. My car is stock.

4:10 gears and I got 20mpg for all 1933 miles on my trip back from San Diego after buying my Marauder.
Like 19.7 to 20.2. Even through the Rockies.

My Kenny Brown #1x, is a cetrifugal blower, with the OEM MAF in blow through and 9.5 PSI of boost, 4:10 axle too. City MPG is 18-20, and highway is 23-24 average. Of course, this take a lot of right foot discipline, damn thing is just too much fun not to drive it's potential. But anyway, there are a few "tricks" you can do to lower your MMs rolling resistance, and every little bit helps.
As for the boost coming on, it is rather quick, and early in the throttle with the centrifugal blower. Not full time as it is with the roots style, but it's surely not as laid back as many think.

In stock form I couldnt get over 20.5 mpg hwy-75/80 mph. The more I mod the better it gets. Am up to 23.5 hwy@80mph. The exhaust made the biggest difference.

Like Sarge says--I too can make this all happen as well-but I usually am lower for his reasons---"right foot discipline"--but I usually do about 20 mpg at 70 and better when lower--so see Dok--you could be having this much fun with a blower for a few miles diff..gosh--you should try it......come to think about it--you haven't wanted to drive mine yet--maybe over at the cook-out I can pursuade you..humm..wha do you think.. ..Tom..

yeah, in general, w/a S/Ced Marauder it really depends on how much you get into the boost. I get 12 MPG city. But I also have the 4.56 gears which also DO lower your gas mileage. As far as the question as to what RPM the boost kicks in, RPM is irrelevent. It's how much you get into the gas pedal. push it down more than 1/3 of the way, and you're into boost slightly. Push it down halfway, and your into boost a little more. Bury it in the carpet, and your at the full boost pressure. That's how mine is anyway. But regardless of the S/Cer used, it's the trottle position that determines when you go into boost, and not the RPM.

Last weekend 300 miles Got 19.7 on the HWY @80MPH. I was surprised because I was getting into the throttle a lot but not WOT.

I average 18 mpg in town and 21 highway. The PCM was reflashed, the rest of the car is like I bought it. I probably could do a little better on highway mpg, I cruise at speeds higher than optimun for good gas mileage.

Stock I get about 22.2 mpg highway and 19.5 mpg city if and when I check. But, I don't do that very often -- I just fill 'er up when she gets near a 1/4 tank. This car ain't about MPGs, it's all about the SPMs (Smiles per Mile). Priceless !!!!
Normal driving: 20.5 mpg
Smiling while driving: 17 mpg

What would the max you would offer for a 2003 MM that is still left over. im considering this instead of a used one since there are several left in the states and i could have it delivered.

I do the same. I don't pay much attention to the gas mileage. Besides I have my foot on the pedal to much to get an accurate reading.

I was begining to wonder about being the lowest mileage marauderer. Felt kind of lonely. Still quite a difference. I am mostly running A/C lately.

Did a fair bit of driving, last week - about 500 miles, with the following breakdown:
About 300 miles were highway (~75mph)
About 200 miles were commuting (mix of 60mph and stop-and-go)
There were a few WOT blasts, here and there
1.5 miles were done 1/4 at a time, at the track
All said and done, I ended up getting 19.7mpg, bone stock (down the oil and filters)... Not too shabby...

I wonder how much the California emissions standard effects MPG?
I booked 300 miles yesterday, @78mph light traffic, Windows open, A/C off, aprox 75 degreesF, pretty much cruise control all the way. I got only 21.5MPG.
Mine is California emissions.

Just filled up, got 21.5 mpg on a mixed loop, with the trunk and back seat packed repeatedly full of crap that we're "pre-moving" to the new house before the big move on the upcoming 6th. That includes some of the usual stop-and-go traffic of <s>Road-Construction-World</S> Montreal.

Is that stuck in traffic gas milage? that's not bad!! what octane you use and which gas station do you use? I use ultramar or petro canada, I wish my ranger gotten better than 20mpg on a nice day!! and average 18mpg highway and 15 to12 city mpg!! That's depends of how i drive and how much I'm taking it easy!!

Not as much as you think.
Your Marauder will get better MPG with age.
As the engine loosens up and breaks in, your MPG will also go up
due to the reduced friction in the engine.
Using Synthetic Motor Oil is also theoretically supposed to help reduce
the friction and give you a higher MPG.

On our way back from Lidio's and the Cleveland meet in May, we got ~21 MPG: cruise on 72-75 MPH, A/C on, a week's worth of luggage and paraphernalia (no, not THAT kind), and RF Overlord's fat ass...not to mention the blower and 4.10s...I'm very happy with that mileage...

Just got back from a short road trip, about 600 miles round-trip. My Marauder averaged just a hair over 23 MPG, with the A/C running full time, cruising at about 72 MPH, with some climbing of hills. Not too shabby.

On my daily drive from Tracy to Pleasanton CA, I get approx 19.5 to 20. The drive is thru hills and at least half of it is stop/start so I'm happy enough. I've 20K on the clock and I run with 91 octane. I expect with a long hi-way drive I could easily get 23+ but that assumes keeping it at 75 or under.
Assuming facts not in evidence your Honor !!!
