I don't get by here much but wanted to post that unfortunately, another one bites the dust.

Sadly, my last MM bit the dust after a couple of sells down the line.

Brads old car. Some of you old timers know the history. I sold it a guy on here from Jacksonville ( can't remember his handle) and he sold it to a guy in Louisiana. Welp, it met a tree and the tree won. I tried to talk him into buying it back and parting it out at least.

I really loved that car. It was the fastest out of the four I had considering 3 of the 4 were S/C'd.

That's sad.
I wonder if it's worth a frame swap to bring it back to life.

Hope everyone is safe! I remember when Brad had it in Boston always wanted to see it in person. Lots of parts going to the crusher!

I heard about it awhile ago. Brad was beating himself up about getting rid of it once he knew.

I’ve always leaned towards selling mine off to someone not from around my parts or from this board so I wouldn’t have to see or here of something like this. Even just finding out that it is garage less would piss me off to no end.. Best lost and forgotten IMHO

THIS is great news.

Good to hear! Make sure he makes and posts a resurrection/re-build thread for us to follow

He doesn't belong on here.

Sure he does! He's got a Marauder, don't he? Make him create an account on here...

Not what I meant. He doesn't have an account on MM.net. I've recommended it to him however, he does belong to the Mercury Marauder group on fb. This platform for obvious reasons is dying slow arduous death. I wouldn't be surprised if its completely dead in a couple of years.

Facebook has essentially become the death nail in most forums as we know it. It's a shame because there's a lot of great tribal knowledge in the annals of this forum.

Facebook has such a toxic atmosphere (not discounting our own troubles here on this forum in the past) but as new generation of Marauderers take ownership, there's a lot of great info that can be found on the forum

Even if he's not a member, it would be cool if he still creates/documents a build thread. Whether on another forum or just links to a photo gallery/hosting site.

I follow the Chicago Garage and there's been exceptional build threads there that make my jaw drop

This is sad news, best of luck for a quick rebuild to the owner!
