I haven't posted in a while but I still own my MM going on 16 years. I have babied this car from day 1 but time does takes it's toll after 113,000 miles so I decided to do a make over. The sides of the car still looked new but the bumpers, front clip, roof and trunk were showing road rash and some clear coat wear. I decided to do the following:

refinish front bumper including filling license plate holes
new Saleen style build numbers on bumper
new grille
new lights
refinish hood
new mach 1 chin spoiler
repaint wiper arms
new windshield
refinish roof
refinish trunk and spoiler

I got the car back last week and did a full detail today and I feel like a kid again. It looks showroom new. It only took 10 minutes of driving before I got my first person pull up next to me and beep and give me the thumbs up.

I have a few other surprises in store for the inside. Stay tuned.

When you say you had the hood/roof/trunk re-finished, what was involved? Did they sand it down, primed and re-painted? I've been looking to do something like that with my car but don't want to break the bank.

What brand headlites did you go with? Are you happy with the fit if they are not OEMs?

They fit fine and look good but I don't know how good they are going to hold up over time. If my car was a daily driver I would probably try to get oem.

yes, full refinish by a very reputable body shop. Price will vary depending on the shop so shop around but you are probably going to spend at least 2k.
