I know we've beaten this horse pretty bad around here...no one makes a specific "kit" for the eaton swap. It is pretty much all self-combined. There are many friends on this forum who have used their considerable engineering and fabricating skills to aid in the process, but if you use the search function on this forum, it will yield you a few things:

1. A list of all item needed to gather for your "personal kit"

2. Master Mechanics (Chris Curless in Michigan, and Mo's Speed Shop in Georgia to name two) who can do the whole she-bangy-bang FOR you and you never get your hands dirty.

3. A lot of love from your peers on this forum who are cheering you on!

ALL THIS AND MORE...if the Budget is RIGHT! (Godspeed friend! We really are excited for you!)

I think I’ve seen one complete kit sold here in the last decade.

For as long as it takes to gather all the bits, I can’t see anyone not installing it and selling it off.

Also, complete seems to have many different views. Just remember it’s the smalls that eat your wallet.

As a point of reference, I assembled my Eaton swap “kit” for ~$4K in 2019

probably not including tune

Exactly. $4K for parts only. Then you have to factor a couple grand for install, 500 for a tune, another 500 if you don’t already have a scanner. So plan on anywhere from $5K (if you wrench yourself) to $8K. That still doesn’t include headers/exhaust, trans cooler, rear gears, etc. So yeah, it adds up quick!

I would add that I would expect to pay even more for a fully assembled “kit” from a member on here. They’ve done the research, gathered all the right parts, and taken the guesswork out. That’s worth something.

i offered my kit to the op for 5 grand minus the heavy car battery and bulky heat exchanger. His reply back was he would do 5 grand installed. That qualifies for lowball.net haha...
The guy you just yelled at for no reason sold a kit to Marty for $5500 like 4 years ago. He wasn’t rude. Jfc

Umm, Marauderguy.... I think you need to adjust your glasses sir... If you knew Neil (8UWITH6) you'd know he is fully aware of how much this stuff costs. He was not saying that your price was too high, he was questioning how "complete" your "kit" is... Having EVERY part to do an eaton swap is NOT cheap by any means... In my opinion, $4500 will not touch what is truly needed to do a correct swap. I have most of the parts sitting here to build one start to finish... complete blower, all sensors, pump, cooler, tank, hoses, relays, wiring, JLT cold air, pulleys, brackets, idlers, tensioners, belts, battery tray, battery cables, catch can, PCV, plugs, cobra coolant tube and the list goes on and on.... I would not sell it for $4500....

With an attitude like that, you probably won't make too many friends around here Sir. Hater? Hardly. Matter of fact and blunt. I fully understand the Eaton swap costs and install, and have SOLD a complete "kit" here. My statement was meant to get more information out of you. I would suggest if you do decide to sell your item that you list everything out and take picture's. If you need an example of a proper for sale ad look mine up from about 6 year's ago. You're welcome. :)

No issue. It wasn't meant to be an insult, maybe just a friendly jab. :) Have a great day as well!

I’m sure both “kits” offered here are pretty good deals. In retrospect I probably spent $4,500 for parts... wasn’t really keeping detailed notes. I did get a really good deal on a few things, which kept the cost down.

To the op, I’m curious to hear what you come up with. I considered other options before deciding on an Eaton swap (not like there are many). There are several reasons why I went with the swap, cost was one. No, it’s not exactly cheap, but all things considered it’s a good bang for the buck... gears, converter, and exhaust are optional.

Anyway, good luck.

Right? A coyote with a roots supercharger would whip most everything we are trying to build...but my guess is it would cost a pretty penny. Coyote swap fox's are the rage now...there have been a couple of folks who've done it with ours...and even a LS swap!!!!! That's just fun sacrilege!

I still say a Fox Body with a Hellcat swap would be badazz! So light, so much torque... Oh, and purists would melt down!!! :banana2::beer:

I am currently acquiring the parts to do just that as we speak. The only substantial parts I need are a heat exchanger, AFR gauge, injectors, fuel pump, drive pulley, and tune. Items like fasteners, hoses, clamps, belts, and wiring will be meticulously addressed because the last 10% of the installation details can make it look thrown together in a mad rush.

You may consider doing the rear head cooling mod since you'll be right there. Also maybe replace the timing chain guides, too.
