Appreciate the info. So, the 25 June date was right all along. And so we have the end of another era .... the '03 & '04 Marauders ... destined to be written into history as a true classic.

No there was nothing special done for the last Marauder. However there were people from Ford with Camera's taking photo's off it during the last 45 mins of production. Then we all gathered around it when on break because they parked it beside the end of the line.We cared don't worry, some of us were a little down about it.I think it should have been black too.

F/L/M should have put a coupon for a "free" Supercharger (or other performance upgrade) in the glove box as a gift to TLM (The Last Marauder).

But Silver hides alot of things. Like road film, the car allways looks clean, and most of all on my car it disguised the BIG FAT DIRT PIMPLE I found :mad2: this morning on my rear passenger door. The pimple was right on the waterfall area, which is right at eye level when handled at the :shot: stamping plant it came from. I guess it kinda sucks to know about sheet metal, cause I'll always find something wrong with any car I own. Oh well, we had a good run guys; maybe in a few years the Marauder name will live again. I just hope it's not front wheel drive. :puke:

Jack Demmer LM Emailed me and they weren't aware that they were receiving the last marauder made. They are now and have flagged the vin so that it doesn't get accidentily sold "willy nilly". I'm sure they'll pump it up or promote it as best they can.
If you're interested in owning the last production marauder, give Tim Groen a call at Jack Demmer... (313) 359-7046 Direct

DAMN!!!! I am glad somebody let them know. I think the last one made does and will carry a higher value in some shape, fashion or form. If I was a dealer I would put a $5,000 surcharge on it until it sold.

Too Bad the MM is gone. I'm so glad Ford promoted the hell out of the MM!
I don't think I EVER saw a MM commercial, just a 1.2 second shot of a black MM on a city street in a general Mercury vehicles commercial. Ford
just guaranteed that the car would die due to 'limited sales and interest'.

It's really strange..... I think 98% of the Marauder owning population alone has forgotten about the blue Marauders. I sure had. But then on the other hand, I am still crying because they never made a dark metallic green with dark charcoal interior too! :)

Is it possible now to get the FINAL accounting of MMs produced for 2004 by color? I saw Prelim results for 2004 from mid-June 2004, but not the final nbrs yet.
Further, is it possible to get out relative production nbr within a given exterior color. "Mine is Nbr xxx of 335 DTRs for 2004" or some such!

IIRC, they brought out the last Marauder to show us before it was shipped out. I think someone on CVN has some pics of it in the plant's parking lot. I'll see if I can find them.
