Last September I had the front end aligned at my local Ford dealer because I was getting some wear in the inside of the front tires. It seemed to hunt when driving over cracks like between the lanes of the road.

A few weeks later I noticed the steering wheel was not aligned when driving straight down the road. I brought it back and then aligned the steering wheel at no charge. It wasn't pulling to the left or right, just seemed to be misaligned.

On May 2nd, I ran an auto cross event and after that I noticed the steering wheel was misaligned again. I took it back and they realigned the steering wheel but said the bushings on the lower control arms are worn.

Now today, I notice the steering wheel is misaligned again. Just normal driving to and from work. I am looking at buying new upper and lower control arms, but do you think this is my problem or does my Ford dealer not know how to align my car?

Thanks, Curt

Bet they forgot to tighten the tie rod jam nuts.

I just ordered upper and lower control arms from Moog for about $450. Once I get everything installed I'll get it back into Ford for an alignment.

Are those aluminum?
I purchased OEM from Rock Auto.

The lower control arms appear to be aluminum in the picture, but they are back ordered. The uppers arrived on Saturday and they are steel just like the OEM's.

I have done new upgraded sway bars, end links, shocks, control arms (front and upgraded rear), tie rods, and just about every other suspension component you can think of. I still have the same issue with my alignment. Steering wheel gets off center about every month or two. Let me know how you solve the problem. I have had multiple shops look into it and nothing found. Drives me nuts

I have an auto cross on Sunday, so we'll see what happens after that.
