Last weekend my car drank the evil potion. It no longer is the mannered, yet spirited machine that I brought home from the dealership. No, it has turned into a growling beast that wants nothing more than to run as fast as she can.

I cannot get over how big a change has come over her since putting in the Stallion torque converter and the headers/magnaflow high flow cats and mufflers!

I would read on here about "oh, I can now lay rubber from a standstill on dry pavement... yada yada" and think "yah, whatever." My car never did that unless the pavement were a little wet or I cheated and used the brake. Well, the weather has been crappy every day since the install, but this afternoon on the way home from work it finally was sunny and dry. I sit at a red light and think "Hmm, let's try punching it this time" and when the light turns green, STOMP! SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCHHHHHH! and the most satisfying patch of rubber/smoke is laid on Oxmoor Road!! On dry pavement. On a 90 degree day.

People looking at me saw a maniac, laughing hysterically, grinning and whooping. That was FUN!!

The rest of the drive was, let's say, "spirited." I let her stretch her legs on segments of I-59 with no traffic in areas I know that the PD does not usually monitor. Valentine 1 on and sniffing, short runs up to 110, most of the time staying at 90. Butler Tire's balance on the wheels is perfect -- no shake or shimmy. The Dynotech MMC shaft is doing it's job -- before I would notice a harmonic throbbing throughout the car at speeds over 80 mph, now, it's absolutely solid. The world is a different place at speeds over 90.

What a great car!

Now you know what some of us other MM owners have experienced w/those Mods. I put the gears in w/the chip, and it still couldn't leave rubber unless I incorporated the brake pedal in the process. But when I also added the Stallion Torque converter w/the stall speed set at 3,000 RPM's and the headers and exhaust package to boot, the car did some decent burnouts from a dead punch. Ofcourse by then i also had the 4.56's in the rear, which made it even better, but w/the headers/exhaust, Stallion converter and simply 4.10 gears, I'm sure it does just fine in the burnout catagory. Especially when you only have a quarter tank of gas. Less weight in the back, and they spin even better.
