OK,... I've searched the threads and couldn't find the info I'm looking for.
What size tires can I get to preserve the 'raked' stance of my MM, and not throw off my spedometer too much?
I'm thinking about some 18x9 rims in the rear..
Thanks!

The P305/45/18's work fine for me. They're height is 28.70" as opposed to the factory stock tire height of 28.0" so that's about as close as you're gonna get w/drag radials as far as I know. The wheels have to be widened to 9.5" for these. I think it's worth it. They look great and grip really good especially on the track. And I don't know why anyone has voiced any concerns about driving in the rain w/these tires, because I've driven in two downpours so far on the highway w/them at 75 MPH and they're just fine. Lidio has also said the same.

Billy,
Are you running P305/45/18's all around?
Billy,
Are you running P305/45/18's all around?
I have been running the Nitto's 24/7 since early spring & have had zero problems. In the mid-atlantic it seems liked it has rained almost every day. You just have to be careful giving it anykind of power when your making a turn on wet surface. The back will get loose however the same held true when car was stock. Now the line you cross before loosing the back just comes closer. If your car is S/C and your getting on the throttle on a regular basis i feel it is not safe to run it without the Nittos. In the winter I will switch back to OEM because it thin in case os snow.
Billy,
Are you running P305/45/18's all around?
My mistake I read it as ARE RUNNING ALL THE TIME.

I went with Nitto 555 295/45 ZR18 instead of the 555R 305. The 555 has more treads than the 555R. It's my daily driver in the summer and I haven't gone to the track yet in a year and a half.

Mine's a daily driver too. No 555R's for me. Just the regular 555.
It seems like most people here only running Nittos in the back?
If I get them, I want them on all four corners.

my Marauder not only is my daily driver, but it's also my ONLY driver since I've sold the Vette. I use the nitto P305's only in the back since they're not intended for the front at all. These are drag radials unlike the N555 P295's. The P305's are the "N555R" tires which are all out traction tires for dry pavement.
If you have a Roots type S/Cer sitting under the hood of your Marauder, you need the drag radials, and nothing less unless you want to do the best possible burnouts all over the place. I can still do good burnouts even from a dead punch to a point that the tires smoke, but the drag radials also grip real good on the track, and even on the street when you walk it out off the line for about the first 20 feet at half throttle and then lay into it. W/the stock tires, I couldn't even come close to half throttle in first gear w/out spinning the tires. So that's why I have the P305's. Great tires.
If you want to run Nittos in the front, then you can use the "N555" tires which aren't drag radials like the "N555R" is. But they probably wont bite the road as well either during a hard launch. but if your car isn't S/ced, then that might not be your concern anyway.
