hey marty. hows it going? say hellow to the other half. iam not running a chip on the car. the car is stock.i cant get help, so i am trying to see what i can do on my side. so iam going with basics. iac, tps. coil.

Find yourself a dealer that specializes in Ford Hi Perf (SVT) cars and you will get some help!! :(

As far as staying with OEM programming you WILL NOT be satisfied and aftermarket (SCT) programmer will help a bunch!! Call Dennis or Lidio for a cure!!! :burnout:

They're an SVT dealer and very "performance" friendly. The even have an SVT parts desk.

Don't do that! Are you sure all the coil conections are tight @ each plug?
I just got my shop van out of Smithtown Ford - had loss of power/engine miss & enough back-pressure in the exhaust to blow a line of the exhaust manifold! After a week in the shop they replaced coils and plugs on the #'s 7 & 8 cylinders, two O2 sensors and the entire exhaust from the manifolds back! The exhaust was under waranty - all three cats self destructed from the missfiring plugs!

hey paul, hows it going? great weekend . i guess i'll check for all that before i go. but i gaped them and used a torque wrench to be exact. i will check again

Check the electrical conections - look for any small cracks in the plugs (when I say "plugs", I'm talking about the disconnects and the sparkplug terminal connection) that might compromise the integrity of the conection, ie "loose plug".

i guess i have a bad tastes in my mouth from the last dealer. i used to own a mark8. and between the dealer and the warranty i had , i had to pay 2000 for ***** that they couldnt resolve. also i went to the dealer 2 times and they charged me for there time for nothing. i went to a mom and pop place afterworth and they researched info the computer. found the problem and only charge 75 to take care. its all bull***** this dealers do. thats why iam pissed. :mad2: wouldnt you be frustrated?

I got my sofware with the DLC cable for $85 about 4 years ago,
and have enjoyed nothing but FREE UPGRADES and a very informative
application as well.

I plugged my laptop into my Marauder and it PULLS the VIN from the PCM !!!
I've asked Alex if it will pull the ROM ID. I think he is still working on that.

When you check the plugs look for a cracked insulator. Caused me fits on the wifes Contour until I spotted the small crack. Tossed that plug, problem solved.
