exhaust donuts !!!

my 66 XL seems to not like the Felpro exhaust donuts. Loosens up, I tighten, it loosens, then disintegrates, lovely!! Options??

Not sure on the shape of yours, but I've purchased what I believe to be a hard ceramic donut instead of the standard graphite mesh.
