In the process of installing headers on the Town Car, I managed to break off the oil dipstick tube at the block.
Searched youtube and found some ideas, but was curious if anyone here has encountered this problem and how they fixed it?

It took me awhile but I had the best luck threading in a bolt that fit snug and then proceeded to hit the bottom side of the bolt head with a long chisel and hammer.

I crushed one in on itself and pulled it out with needle nose vise grips.

Damn Derek! I don’t recall who’s car it was that I was doing a header install on, but I sure as hell won’t forget the hour or two of swearing I did to remove that POS! This one snapped 1/8” or less out of the block though. There was literally nothing to grab to walk it out.
Seemed like I didn’t have a life back then between mine and all the other Marauders (plus crown vics) coming in and out of here. I don’t believe I ever once had an issue throwing mods at these until they started getting older. That’s about when I had enough and sent locals to another member starting a shop at home. A few years later Kentucky Mike somehow managed to whisper enough sweetness in my ear that I took on his Eaton swap from hell.
Even after a few years of no customer cars, more patience, better tools, plus Mikes car being beyond stupid clean and only 40,000 miles, it was enough to say that’s it, no more, shop is CLOSED!
Roughly 20 holes of bad welds on his custom made cross over tube, unforeseen wore out non related parts, stripped holes on the blower, wrong blower pulley/hub, you name it, just could never catch a break.
Maybe that’s why I hate working on cars now?
End rant…
