Not sure where 'State College Penn' as you call is at...but if it is the one in Erie, I may be able to help.

Need more info first. :)

OK, bear with me....when I do a search for STATE PENN COLLEGE, I find one near Erie. I find nothing in Du Bois, however there are as many as 12 listings for campuses throughout the very large state of PA. with the SPECIFIC listing 'PENN STATE COLLEGE'.

If you can narrow it down with an address, I can find it and tell you how close it is to the mechanic I have in mind.

If the vehicular is indeed in the tiny town of Du Bois, central Pa., it is quite far to the mechanic and likely not worth the trouble.

Your are not far off route 80. I know of Ford dealers in the area buy no local garage. Close as I can come is a 100 miles the other way. Town of Hummelstown, Pa.

Thanks guys, we're getting close, found her an engine on car-part.com, decent price, good warranty, now just need it stuck in her truck....

I guess 100 miles might not be bad if the dealer won't touch a junkyard motor..

Thanks again
