Hi everyone, I'm looking at new tires for my '03 since the current ones are worn down pretty low.

I'm currently running Cooper Zeon RS3s on the stock sizes, but I've been looking at getting thicker tires on all four corners. I'm fairly certain 255s will not rub on lock, but I'm not sure if 55s are too tall for the front. Would it be wiser to run 255/50R18s up front rather than 255/55R18s? I did want a squared tire setup but it isn't absolutely necessary. The car is on all stock suspension and ride height, etc.

Thanks.

Since you are a 300B, you have Traction Control, right? Therefore, you need to stagger size front to rear.

I have a 300A...but I run 255/55/18 Rears and 255/45/18 Fronts in the BEST Tires for the MARAUDER

Continental DWS 06 PLUS

you're Welcome!

My last 3 sets of tires have been the Cooper Zeons. The tires sizes need to be staggered; there's a certain percentage that needs to be met in order for the T/C to not go bonkers. I would be willing to say you probably could run 50s up front, but not 100% certain.

Appreciate it! I've already been set on those tires as a matter of fact. It was between Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s and these Contis but I chose to go with the DWS mostly because they come in the 255/55r18 flavor and I'm a lazy bum that didn't want to get the speedometer re-calibrated, among other things.

Whoopsies, I mistyped. Meant 255/45s. I don't think Conti even sells the DWS in 255/50r18 flavor.

255/45/18 is the way to go on the front. That’s what I’ve got.
