Has anyone had an issue with the tension pulley rubbing against the engine block?

That's a sign the tensioner is about to break. My Town Car did that and left quite a mess of aluminum dust all over the engine compartment. Replace the tensioner immediately.

Replace the other pulleys at the same time, new belt and won’t have to worry about the front dress for 10 more years
