Hello: I have something that is not very common. Matter of fact, very uncommon. And that's, what I think, is a 1967 Marauder 410 4V engine and C6 trans. I think it came out of a 1967 Park Lane or some such. What do you guys know about and engine like that. Here's a couple photos. I saw it run a couple years ago. I turned it over by hand a couple days ago. With fuel it will run and I'd bet be very good just as is. It's in a F Series truck now. Was used to pull around a race trailer back in the day. The truck is actually really straight, no rust. Early 70's I think. Anyway, what should I do with this engine. This is a 2nd Generation FE engine (MEL) and it is only an .080" bore away from a legit 428. It should also have the large port 4V FE heads too. Not sure if it came with the adjustable rocker-arms.

The 410 is a Mercury only engine available in 1966-7 (330 HP). Shares the 428 externally balanced crank, flex plate, and balancer. It is a pretty desirable engine in FE circles. Not high performance, but not bad either.

Wife's dad had one in his '66 Park Lane Convertible. Many drives on I-5 she was glad CHP wasn't around.:D
