New to me 2003 Marauder

Have liked these panther cars since they came out, was able to pick one up yesterday! Will not have a chance to see it in person for 3 weeks as I am out of the country, but looking forward to starting a new experience.

I keep hearing about spark plugs going through the hood....is this something to worry about and or can it be prevented? Any other pitfalls I should have attended to?

The 2003 only had about 3 threads of engagement on spark plugs. Make sure to change them with a cold motor and your best line of defense to prevent a blowout is to torque them to spec.

The plug problem is exaggerated. It's got a coil on it and a coil cover bolted over that. It will never achieve orbit with a paint sample. Welcome to your new addiction. You are among some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable folks in the galaxy.
