So I snagged this from under a 2009 Town Car Limo. It seems to cover more underbody area than from the pictures I've seen of installed Pro Guards. Has anybody seen these before or have one installed? I was unaware that this even existed until I happened upon it in the local pick-a-part.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220525/abea0bec0786f90faebd664ac312c8 16.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220525/26f0c587c0d682b54cd47835faaa31 74.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220525/ca8e4c4977e85fe3dcd10447b276d6 f3.jpg

I have a Progard bumper baffle on mine. It is flat, ABS and pretty easy to replicate with a large sheet of anything weatherproof.

Does it look like it will fit a Marauder, bolt holes and the like?

Here is the Ford p/n: 6W13-5411782-AA
I don't see why it won't fit since it fits the underside of the TC Limo.... It mounts to the bumper cover supports and the charcol canister under the trunk. I won't be installing it until I get my Aviator engine swap done. For that I need a coolant mod kit, as well as seals and gaskets, and timing guides.

This is a stock part but was only on 2004 - 2011 Town Car. Not sure why 2003 was not included. My PDC shows 14 left nationally. Retail price is $95.48 so there's that. I don't recall seeing one under my Town Car and now I am gonna scootch under there and see why. I am guessing it was a guard for the evap canister and purge solenoid.

It does cover them, but is nearly the entire width of the bumper.
Also the car I got it off of had a dual exhaust, so it should clear the MM's exhaust as well.

I look in and under every panther platform car I come across in the junk yard and this is the first time I've seen this, I seen 1 actual ProGuard on a car, but it was broken from how the junk yard set the car down in it's resting place. Also I thought air ride was standard on all Town Cars. theres a ton of them there with coil springs, making me wonder if it was indeed standard or have that many people converted to aftermarket coils.

My 2003 Cartier has one. Given the original spark plugs were still in there and only 12k miles, I'm betting it came from the factory that way.

Wouldn't it hang really low? Looks like it goes on over the exhaust tips. Found a potential cheaper source if this turns into a thing. https://auto-bodyparts.com/lincoln-town-car-rear-bumper-lower-air-deflector-under-cover-oem-6w1z5411782a-2003-2011.html

TC has a shorter trunk.
My guess it will be a tough fit with our exhaust tips in the way.

I see the photos perfectly on my I phone using safari. My oem proguard is 1/4 inch thick abs plastic. It’s actually off the car, I have been meaning to make more for 5 years and just a weee bit busy
