I just found this forum after seeing the very impressive turn-out at the 2022 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals. I own a 1970 428 CJ Mach 1 Mustang, so I've been going to Carlisle since before the first Nationals event. I also own a 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS, and I've been thinking that it'd be nice to fill the empty garage bay next to the Impala with a 2004 Marauder since I seem to have a thing for 4-door American cars with a bit of "oomph". Thanks for the forum - I'm looking forward to reading and learning!

Welcome to the forum. There's usually 1 or 2 MMs up for sale frequently nowadays, so you may not have to wait long. Too bad you didn't show up a month ago; a guy had 2 really nice MMs up for sale at a really good price that sold quickly. Good luck in your search. You're located in one of the more active areas of MM owners, so you'll have plenty of chances to meet up with other folks.

I finally found an unmodified, low mileage Marauder that I was able to purchase. This is a 2003 that I found through Hemmings Motor News. It was assembled in July 2002. I'm the 4th owner. It has just under 27K miles, with no accident history. The body is in great shape, but the paint could use a good polish to remove some minor scratches. I'm still waiting for a Deluxe Marti report and the Certificate of Authenticity to arrive. It has a few minor needs, including an original equipment radio that doesn't tune to stations (I already have a PM sent to mustangeddie) and a cracked front license plate bracket.

For anyone wondering about value: the most Hagerty would insure this car for was $25K. I've seen several cars for sale with mileage in the 20s where the asking price was higher than $25K. If you pay that much, you might not be able to insure the car for your purchase price.
