Hi, I am still dealing with the no crank issue, currently just jumping the relay with ignition on and using car lol {sought of stealing my own car lol}., thank you all for your advice and help will post when I find problem, anyway, was driving it the other day trying to reset the monitors and it came up with the code pending p0401 insufficient egr flow.. I removed the egr valve made sure it was not packed with carbon and it was clean I checked the plunger inside and it moves up and down freely I reinstalled it cleared the pending code and drove the car.. in two miles the code p0401 came back on?? . I looked for vacuum leaks both visually and with carb cleaner sprat while idling all looks good ... just curious if anybody has dealt with this and could it be as simple as replacing the egr valve? Not having much luck lately really don't want to give up on the car but it is getting a little frustrating at the least...Thanks in advance . Bill

I had a similar problem on my 02 marquis.... Replacing the DPF sensor or regolator(can't remember what it was for sure) fixed the light. That was on a 2 valve motor.. I don't know if that part is also used on the 4 valve motors too.
