Hood Strut - Lift Support

My hood gave me a bonk on the head last November. It came out of winter hibernation today. I had bought a set of struts in advance of the annual reanimation.

I bought Stabilus # 5B-028991. They are made in USA and labeled Original Equipment Manufacturer. Well they really do seem to be OEM replacements with the exception of the Motorcraft labeling. See pics.
