ditto! the dang lumbar was inflated all the way also when I first drove it. I was thinking that this was the most uncomfortable seat I had ever had.
what a dope.

Nope, it's in an odd location. If I didn't keep a pistol under the front seat, I don't know if I would have ever seen it. EVERY other vehicle I've ever had with lumbar puts the control on the seatback. Very odd.

Very wierd choice for sure as a matter of fact mine "autoadjusts" , of course it probably has something to do with BiG Legs.
Now about that pistol of course it is a registered HAWG LEG Right? Just kidding......

Hi Steve: At 6'6" 375 lbs. I am tight fit
I have found these to be some of the best seats FoMoCo has offered.
I have had to go so far as remove the driver side sun visor so I don't have to duck :baaa:
I only wish the seats were bit lower :D
Hella of a car!
Enjoy ever mile
Now go sign up for Marauderville II and We'll see you in Indy :P

I think the lumbar itself could be placed a little higher in the seat back.
I would also like to have a little more support on the sides to keep you from sliding when making a turn.

I noticed that the seats were (in my opinion) okay for the haul I did down from Montreal to Hershey and back, last October. I felt a little worn out by the time I got to the hotel, I have to admit. They're good... but not the best I've sampled. For my daily commutes, they are mostly excellent and I suspect my comfort level will increase exponentially once I slap on a dead pedal.
My GTA's multi-adjustable seats, I used to think were excellent. However, after sampling my '98 WS6's seats for a while, the GTA's have taken 3rd place right behind my Marauder's (gotta take into account their age, too, I guess).
The absolute BEST seats I've EVER been in for a long distance haul are in my WS6. I am SO glad I forked over the extra cash for the optional seats, which give me the same functionality as what I have in the GTA, but in a MUCH more comfortable package. For road course lapping, you can inflate those side bolsters to the point where you do NOT budge at all in 99% of the turns. And the lumbar support puts the Marauder's to shame, again in my humble opinion.
For long hauls... I drove to Chattanooga from Montreal on business in May 2001 (stayed for 2 weeks and drove back home). I broke it up into 2 days of driving due to leaving late, so it made for about 10-12 hours per day (including a stop to visit Cooter's garage in VA). By the time I reached Chat, I felt so fresh I swore I could hop right back in the car and drive right back home. Consequently, I managed to perform the return trip (this time through Detroit) in one day only. Absolute heaven, that driver's seat.
