Amongst many other things, I need to do the brakes on my recently acquired X-100 which has been stationary for the better part of 30 years. A few hours of searching hasn't yielded much success finding a fresh drum (the one that was pulled off today might be beyond saving). Anyone got a line on a good source for a replacement?

Alternatively, a disc conversion kit would good as well.

There's a guy here TCE who does custom brake work if you're considering a rear disk conversion. He's also got a website.

Hi,

Welcome. as mentioned the older Marauder folks will likely be happy to help you. Another possible source for information on modifications might be an online group for non mustang type fords of that era. Often a modification for a particular model like a marauder might be common for some of the similar lower trim model cars of the same era. I don't know what body models for ford, Lincoln and mercury were shared with the 70 Marauders. People with those cars also might know what common other model parts swap upgrades might be available.

Good luck
