Boy, I haven't had to ask for help in a long time! On ProRauder, I have the factory original rack still, but there is no power assist. The pump and everything else is working because my hydro-boost is working. I was doing some reading and I believe my problem is that it is now more race car than street car, and I think there is no wiring that was left to hook up to the rack. There is no box behind the glove box anymore either and I think that controlled the air ride and the variable power assist.

If there is no power signal (12V key on), am I correct that this is causing it to feel like there is no power assist?

If I just run a +12V (key on) to the rack, will I get my power assist again?

Thanks in advance!

I think there are 2 electrical connections to the rack. I believe the solenoid on the driver's side is for the variable assist. I don't know what the connector on the passenger's side is for, it is a device in the hydraulic line. I thought it was a pressure sensor, but it could be another solenoid. Sorry I'm not much help but maybe it could steer you in the right direction.

I found a PWM adapter on Amazon that the F100 guys are using. As soon as I get my back axle freshened I'll do a quick write-up of how I fixed it.
