Silver or Red....

OK....soliciting opinions...I am one of the few, the proud, the owner o a BLUE MM. If a certain deal comes thru this week I will be getting a 2nd one (YES keeping the blue one). Red or silver? Decisions..decisions... :D :D :banana:

I don't mind the red at all...just like black though...shows all the spots. And I love black cars. Owned several of them.

Well, if black is out of the question, then I'd say silver - I like the red, but the silver looks a little sinister...not that a MM in any color wouldn't look a little angry...

If you go red, you'll have the 2 rarest colors. Silver is really easy to keep looking nice though.

I'd vote for Silver. Would make for a nice color theme! And, as stated ^^^ above, Silver will not show the dirt and dust as much.

Of course, you could add a White Crown Vic LX Sport to the mix and have a patriotic, Red, White and Blue thing happening. :up:

I've had both silver and dark red cars. As others have said, silver doesn't look dirty as fast, but-----------it's a lot more "common". The dark reds and maroons are a lot more distinctive------and they're not nearly as bad as black to keep looking good.

I really like the looks of my DTR with the dark charcoal interior. It looks rich and sharp (I think). Others do too. I was driving through a Walmart parking (with my windows down), looking for a parking spot, and a pedestrian calls out "sharp car".

One other possible benefit, however, for the silver is, that being not so distinctive (IMHO), it may not be picked on as much by the traffic nazi's.

My 2 cents anyway.

I have a Silver and it's easy to keep clean and doesn't show the dirt as much as a red one would, but a red one would be alot more rare, what matter's most of all is what will make you happier.

Buy a red and silver one. A friend of mine has all 3 colors in the Impala SS, a burnt cherry, a green and black. :)

The color choice is a tough one. A lot depends on your priorities. Here is that way that I would think about it...

If you want stealth, and by that I mean a car that will slide in easier under "RADAR" the silver will be the better color. It is the hardest to spot from a distance.

If you want rareness and pure sex appeal then go with DTR.

If you want to be like most all of the other Marauder guys go with black. :lol: JUST KIDDING GUYS.

i saw carfixer's red 04 in person. they had a silver one on the floor at the dealership. my personal preference is the red-your eyes are just drawn to it.

Just picked up my DTR MM yesterday. Dealer tells me only 500 produced. I love the way it changes color from almost dark maroon at night to bright red in full sunlight. :banana:

Yep, its a pain in the *ss to keep clean but I do think it looks great in black.
