S/C Induction Noise???

OK....You S/Ced Owners..... :o

What does your WOT induction noise sound like?? :confused: Is it just a high pitched whine or a low "moan" like I have with the Paul's HP air box?? :confused:

I had to put the "J" tube thingy back in since the induction noise at WOT was 3x the exhaust note and pretty obnoxious!! With the "J" hickey installed it is noticebly quieter....but not like the OEM box!! :rock:

Hmmm, I'm not sure why you're comparing S/Cer noise w/that of your N/A engine, but for what it's worth, I can barely hear my S/Cer at all when I bury the pedal in the carpet. But you now have me wondering if any of the other S/Ced Marauder owners have previously eliminated that "J" thing since some of their engines sound like they emit a lot more S/Cer whine than mine does, atleast going by the video clips I've seen and heard on here.


I've left that "J" thing in place, and the Trilogy S/Cer kit does NOT require you to remove it.

What "J" tube thingy, do you have a pic? I hear the sweet whistle of my S/C whether at Idle or WOT. :coolman:

I'm thinking, that with the KB supercharger or Dennis kit, the "J" thingy is already replaced with the parts in the kit.....

And the Trilogy blower doesn't replace the OEM tube between the throttle body and the MAF sensor that has the "J" thingy on it. Just my opinion.

To each his own my friend. I've never liked the S/Cer whine, and I still don't. That's why I'm glad that mine can barely be heard. Especially w/the Kooks exhaust. :)
