Several years ago, I bought a DB Electrical. It was really noisy, so I did a warranty exchange. Had to send the old one in before they would send me a replacement. Now it sounds like the bearing is failing.
Any have any suggestions for an alternator?

I went through two HO alternators, bought this and it’s run fine for three years. Only high stress conditions too.

Thanks for the help.
My DB electric one makes it sound like i have a vortech supercharger in my engine bay lol, its not super loud but a little whine is therefor sure. No issues though so far. 130amp output.

Actually, I think it's the idler pulley just to the left (as you are looking at the engine from the front) of the alternator.

Curt,
KMJ. Just ordered one for my new motor build and they have a lifetime warranty! Got mine powder coated white to match the new motor.

I ordered an idler pulley. If that isn't it, then it's the alternator.
