I haven’t started my car in over a year or more. I don’t want to start it as I am afraid of damaging the motor due to oil starvation upon start up. What is available at a reasonable price to pre prime the motor before start up ?

Push the gas pedal to the floor and crank it over for a bit, this'll cut the fuel injectors and not start the car.

Price = free

Canton products and moroso and others make them, but they are not cheap. So do what is recommended and hold gas pedal to floor while cranking, it won't fire the injectors
Use an oil anti drain back filter. Like motor craft FL820s

I had the same concern when I was to 1st start up my 03 MM rebuilt engine. After consulting with others on this forum I did the following:
Removed the auxiliary threaded port plug from the oil filter adapter. Purchased at home depot a threaded barb fitting ( threads go in the port, the other end is a cone shaped barb).
Thread the barbed fitting into port.
Put new oil into a hand pump container/dispenser ( like what you use to spray weed killer).
Attach a plastic line from the dispenser to the barb.
I pumped the engines oil capacity ( 5 qts I think ) from the dispenser into the engine.
I believe this pushed oil everywhere in the engine, as I could hear the oil working up into the heads.
After ~1hr the oil pan dipstick showed full.
If you dont want to change the oil , you could drain it and push it back in as described above.

This is just what I am looking to avoid. Rotation of the engine with probably no oil on the bearings or though out the motor. Even with an oil filter with anti drain back scared to death of oil starvation and causing damage.

I promise you even sitting for a year if you pulled the motor apart you'd find a layer of oil on the bearings. If you want to go above and beyond you can get some fogging oil to spray down each of the spark plug holes before you start it.

I've started engines from vehicles that sat abandoned outside in fields for 5-10 years and never an issue with wiping a bearing out. You'll be fine priming the system on the starter, it doesn't take all that long to get oil going.

FYI, Godzilla sat for 4 years and wasn't started for most of that.
Changed the oil and filter, drained most of the gas, then added 5 gallons fresh and some Techron.
All I had to do was the pedal-floor bit and the fuel pump cut out.
Cranked it for seriously like 3 minutes over the period of 15 minutes.
Un-tripped the fuel cutout and it started like it had never sitting at all.
Not even the smallest puff of smoke.
Have some things to do like new rear tires, all new pads/rotors and AC accumulator (rotted out, of course) and all ready for normal driving.
