Temperature Sensors

The Marauder dashboard temperature gauge rises quickly with hard acceleration. It's fine for driving around town, but spikes the dashboard temp gauge on hard pulls. Infra red temperature gun shows no engine temperature above 200 (bottom, top, etc.. are all fine).

I changed the thermostat to eliminate that item. Burping the raidiator is likely next.

I have looked at Ford parts online and Goggle searches, but have not found the temperature sensors for PCM and the dashboard gauge. All help is welcomed.

Check your radiator fan. It probably isn’t coming on with the hard acceleration.
Aldo check it with the AC on.

Try taking you front black grill off to see if it' and airflow issue.
