Who, if anyone, is still selling complete Jmod kits (valve body, separator plate, everything ypu need) ?
If I can get absolutely everything needed for a straight swap, I would get a shop to do it.
There is plenty of OLD info about Darrin, BCA, Lonnie Doll, Eric at North Georgia Trans etc., but I can't find any current info.

BCA seems to still something, I can't vouch for it (IE: if you order, will it show up). https://www.bcawebstore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=24
This was always a historically "DIY" mod back in the day, drilling the separator plate and removing the shift accumulator springs. If you were going to have a shop do this, tons of documentation still out there on TCCOA and CVN they could use to reference on how to perform it.

After reading about 50 threads on the Jmod on various sites, I may just get the thicker "Tuff plate" separator plate and drill it out myself. I should be able to have the shop swap it out and leave the springs alone. I think that will accomplish 95% of the original purpose.
