Happy Saturday! Would anyone be willing to post or pm me some photos of the major EGR components and the lines? The previous owner of my marauder did some “bypassing/Frankensteining of the EGR valve and tubing. While this itself doesn’t really bother me, the check engine light does so I’m looking to put everything back as it should be. I’ve never messed with or paid much attention to emissions systems before wich is why I’m asking for the help.

Thanks in advance!

My car is not where I am, however, next week I can send photos. Should be Friday.

Here are a few pictures of mine when I was getting ready to do timing chain tensioners. I dont believe the engine had been taken apart prior to that so everything should be as from the factory.

Good luck!

The EGR system consists of key components like the EGR valve, metal tubing, vacuum lines, and the DPFE sensor, all of which work together to reduce emissions. If the previous owner bypassed or altered these parts, you’ll need to inspect and replace any missing or blocked components.

Where is the DPFE sensor? Isn't it part of the EGR valve?
