Good afternoon, I am looking for some help. I have a 2007 grand marquis that has AC issues, most likely the blend door is the main culprit. Based of the age and before I got it it hardly moved for several years. I got it last fall. I have also noticed th3 AC compressor will cycle on/off every couple seconds. This morning I replaced the ac dryer and low pressure hose. I had planned on replacing the switch the is attached to the dryer, but I most of bought the wrong one. What is the part called or the part number I need to look up. Also I bought the pressure hose from rock auto. I can with o rings on the connections, but also came with o rings taped to it. Should I have replaced the orings that were on it already with the ones taped to it? Also this morning I noticed i had a oil leak develop, it appears it's coming from the drain pan area. Im leaving toward the drain pan gasket. What other possible things could be causing the oil leak. Seems to only happen after car has been running also. Sorry for the long post and the help is much appreciated.

Did you do a self-test on the EATC and if so, any codes? If you can get the car up in the air, that will help determine where the oil leak is coming from. Without pics or actually eyeballing it, it would just be guessing where it's coming from...may as well throw darts at a dart board.

Most ac problems turn out to be the EATC. They can be rebuilt.
