Those who read my "What would YOU do" fiasco know that I need a new hood insulation assy. as a result of coolant damage.

I have a coworker that does extreme airbrush work on the side. He has offered to do a custom graphic on the hood insulation for me. Kinda like the Buick regals have.

I was thinking of doing our round Mercury Marauder club logo sticker that was sold in our store, and have my screen name done above it. Not firm on the grapic of choice yet, and our member Rhinoceptor has made some cool ones, therefore I am open to SUGGESTIONS.

So far I am thinking color=white with some blue hughs to go with my engine color.....

The new part comes tuesday, and he will start wednesday.

Barry, i have a modest mock up just waiting to be uploaded. But it'll have to wait untill logan is done up dating the site.

How about Bugs Bunny as the Mask Marauder holding up Red Hot Rider like in the cartoon "Buckeroo Bugs".

Barry: I like teh idea (a lot!!) but you may want to think twice about putting yoru name on the car because it may hurt you when you go to sell the car (twenty years from now...).

Barry, Marty's right but we'll all slap you around anyway if you sell her. I like the idea of the Mercury Marauder.net National Member logo, with your screen name above or below it optionally. Post some pics when it's done!

Barry, that's an interesting idea. I've never seen that done before. The one thing that comes to mind for me though is that it might be a mistake to include light colors on that since it would be under the hood, and might therefore be impossible to keep clean. Especially w/white. Don't you think?
