The popular expression on our board lately is how a modification puts a "Smile on your face" while driving your Marauder. I remember that the popular expression last year was how certain mods "wake up" your car. Ofcourse the "wake up" term implies that either your car was dead before the mod in question was perfomed, or it was sleeping, or sluggish. I won't get into what I suggest your next mod should be if you consider your car dead, asleep or sluggish, since most of you have probably read my various posts that I've included my opinions and suggestions concerning that.
But as far as the a mod putting a smile on your face goes, how about a smile on the face of one of your passengers? Yesterday my nephew was in my homestate visiting from Delaware (my nephew is only 6 years younger than I am). And I took him for a ride in my Marauder since he hasn't had one since the car was stock. He's a diehard BMW fanatic, and he also happens to own one himself. Don't ask me which model since most of them look alike to me anyway. While he was in the passenger seat, he began talking about how great the turbo charger was in his wife's 4 cylinder wagon. Again, some foreign thing, I have no idea nor concern what type of car it is that she has.
So I stomped on the go pedal to show him what a forced induction V8 engine can do. And it not only put a "smile" on his face, but he began to laugh out loud just the same way that I did the first day that I drove my car right after completing my S/Cer installation. I thought that was pretty cool since out of all the passengers that I've had in my car who have commented on how quick it is, he's the only one who burst out laughing during the G-force. He thoroughly enjoyed it. So not only has driving my car put a smile on my face at times, but has also put a smile on the face of atleast one of my passengers. :D :D
