Check out this website.
It is a turbine which installs in the intake tube.
Does this really work? Based on the testimonials, it seems pretty good.

I've read elswhere that it actually does nothing, and may in fact (in carburetted cars anyway) cause too much turbulance

I believe it was W.C. Fields who said: "There's a sucker born every minute."
I like how their ad claims:
Typical range of improvement over baseline is:
0 to 35 increase in horsepower,
0 to 31.85% increase in fuel economy.
I wish I could claim that having 0% of my customers satisfied was an improvement...must keep their lawyers happy, though.

This type of unit has been around for years... Ask for a verifiable dyno chart.. On a real world vehicle. not a motorcycle modded to LPG....
My favorite quotes from the Q&A section are:
Begin Quote:
Q7: Do I need to do any adjustments other than the above?
A: Probably the most important adjustment you will need to make is getting used to the increased hp and torque, for the same speed you do not need to step on the gas pedal as much. You may find your pressure on the pedal for the same speed is about 20-30% less, especially at freeway cruising speeds. The car will coast further on idle, as even that small amount of gas is being utilized more efficiently. Advise other drivers the car is now more powerful. (My Bold)
Q15: How many units can I put in my car?
A: If you have an EFI type car, you may install two (2) units for a near double boost.
:End Quote
I'll bet I could skin one of those rabid (rapid?) Sables with a double install... :D

Is anyone familiar with spiralmax cousin, tornado. They also claim more power, more performance, better gas mileage and easy install. Both are identical in claims, this is the web site: www.TORNADOair.com amazing how they can advertise each others ad verbatim. :nono:

These stupid things don't do jack, they've been debunked time and time again. Complete waste of money.

Just use your brain! First I want to know why people are under the assumption that spinning air is better then non spinning air. Also even if it made your air spin in the intake tube, what happens when it gets to the valve seat? I assure you any spinning will cease immediately!. I can't believe people fall for this stuff. Please just use your brain!!!

Just think for under $100.00 you can have a supercharger and a 'Supercharges" sticker on the rear of your car.
I'd love to dyno this thing.

I heard that if you use your godhead center caps for new badges, these things make good replacements. And they're aerodynamic, too!

ROTFLMAO...Like those windmills on your handlebars? What's next, playing cards clothes-pinned to the spokes of our polished alloy wheels instead of FlowMasters?
What will these people try next?

I was thinking of using Z-MAX at my next oil change...that's gotta be good for a couple of hundred horse...I was totally impressed by the fire-engine demo...
Or was it the one where they drove the Ferrari around LA with no oil in it for like 3 hours...
OOPS...time to adjust my Q-Ray Ionized bracelet...

You can also buy a turbo exhaust. I am sure this thing works.
Just think how 'cool' you Marauder exhaust tips could look with one of these!
