Kook's Fuel Line Proximity

Anybody concerned with heat issues should look at the rear header tube on the passenger's side. Along the frame, about 1/2" from the header tube is the fuel line. I just noticed this and wrapped mine with Thermo-Tec insulation. If I had known about it before the header install, I would have probably repositioned the fuel line while the manifolds were off. Heated fuel is not good for performance.

Are your headers coated? If so, don't worry about it. Only way the proximity would be an issue is if there was direct contact. Heat is very nicely contained in the coated headers unless there's direct contact to the header.
