I have been running Densco plugs for about 10K. Anyone have a good idea of how long these high dollar plugs last ? My 300A seem's to be sluggish. I know that when I can find some open road ( no PD, good road, day time, ect) I can " blow them out " by running at a pretty fast speed; after that they seem to run better. Since it's summer, and I live in Texas, I have the A/C on allot, and have found that after a week of daily driving in heavy traffic, blowing out the " crud " or whatever does help, temporarly at least.
How long before I should change the plugs ? I know it's time if the car starts cutting out or whatever, but I'm not having that problem, not yet at least.

They last longer than 10k, how many miles ? opinions vary.
Sluggish could be the result of a lot of stop and go driving, I had a slight miss you could feel on the gas pedal at idle, after I had the fuel injectors cleaned the miss went away.
Your plugs are still under warranty and if there is a problem with plugs, Dennis will make it right, I would pull the plugs and examine then for any unusual wear or deposits.

I had the same issue (although I don't drive daily)-it seemed to be after sittting for longer than a week. I wonder if it's a Tarrant/Johnson County thing?????
Anyway, I use this gas treatment made by Lucas (I haven't seen it in Auto Parts stores but the Burleson Tractor Supply store sells it). A bottle every three tankfuls seems to work wonders.
I'm ready for the flames now.

I didn't know that the Densco came with a warrenty, guess I should have read the box. Driving around town, air conditioning on, stop and go, and slow makes for a crapped out engine - in my case anyway. As I mentioned, a quick run to blow it out usually works.
On cleaning the injectors......I realise that the best way to do this is to take it in to the shop and have them removed and cleaned, yet most guys will use an additive, like Lucas. Anyone know what's the prefered additive to use, or is it best to go the shop route ?

I replaced mine at about 20k and they still looked great. Probably could go 40-50k.

There a good plug, they have a warranty and like any plug if you putz around in town alot they could become fouled slightly but nothing that a WOT wont cure.

Same here,... also a Bell County thing?
as for the gas treatment,.. I use a can of Berryman's B-12 every 3000 miles. Great stuff! that,... and some WOT romps once in a while seem to do the trick.
